Autumn is nearly here, and one thing that doesn’t seem to be going away quickly is the Covid-19 pandemic! There’s been lots of good news though, with businesses and restaurants slowly re-opening and increasing capacity, and a falling unemployment rate. But the good news doesn’t mean we at Salmon & Hewins Law Firm are stopping our monthly charitable giving campaign! The winner for September is Komen Evansville.
This morning, I had the chance to meet with Rachel Smith and Rachael Sherwood, who run Komen’s impressive day-to-day operations. They were happy to accept Salmon & Hewins Law Firm’s check in the sum of $100.00. In the video, Rachel Smith discusses Komen’s core mission – to end breast cancer – and their upcoming More Than Pink Walk, which will be virtual this year!
